Milt Frye Habitat Restoration
9a–Noon, Jun 27th, 2021
The Norwich Conservation Commission’s habitat restoration project’s work day at the field at the Milt Frye Nature Area next to the Marion Cross School is Sunday, June 27th led by Lynnwood Andrews. Come any time and for as long or short as you like between 9-12AM.
In general, the work is most suitable for adults and children 9 years and up, but we do have a task suitable for younger children as well this time. No unaccompanied children, please.
Bring your own trowel or soil knife, and gloves. Loppers, too, if you have them.
We will be working in the field along the edge of the woods. Park in the lot across from the basketball court at the back of the Marion Cross School. Walk straight out to the field and look up the hill to your left. You should find us working along that edge and at the top of the field.
