Milt Frye Habitat Restoration
1–4p, Jun 6th, 2021
The Norwich Conservation Commission’s habitat restoration project’s work restarts for the 2021 season at the field at the Milt Frye Nature Area next to the Marion Cross School.
Lynnwood Andrews will be there from 1-4PM. Come any time and for as long or short as you like. The work is most suitable for adults and children 9 years and up. No unaccompanied children, please.
Bring your own trowel or soil knife, gloves and loppers if you have them. If anyone has a weedwhacker they can bring, it would be much appreciated.
We will be working in the field along the edge of the woods. Park in the lot across from the basketball court at the back of the Marion Cross School. Walk straight out to the field and look up the hill to your left. You should find us working along that edge and at the top of the field.
